Rule 158
Security of school property
(1) The management committee and the principal will have the main responsibility to protect the property in the name of the school.
(2) To manage and protect the property in the name of the community school, there will be a school property protection committee in the respective district with the following members:-
(a) Chief District Officer – Chairman (b) Head of Port Office – Member
(c) One member nominated by the District Education Officer from amongst the donors of the school (d) One member nominated by the District Development Committee from among the members of the District Development Committee (e) District Education Officer – Member – Secretary
(3) The term of office of the member nominated as per sub-rule (2) shall be two years.
(4) The procedure related to the meeting of the committee formed according to sub-rule (2) shall be as determined by the said committee itself.
